WELCOME TO THE MANOR SURGERY

We provide primary health care within the NHS from a purpose built
surgery.

We are a practice of six GP partners and three GP assistants; we also have GP Registrars who work with us alongside Practice Nurses, District Nurses, midwives and a healthcare assistant.

Our Practice Manager is Mrs Sue Smith.

Our aim is to achieve a high standard of care for all of our patients, providing a wide range of services in a friendly environment.  Our Practice is located off Osler Road, in the corner of the John Radcliffe Hospital site and covers the areas of Headington, Marston, Wood Farm, Cowley (excluding Florence Park), Elsfield, Forest Hill, Beckley and Stanton St John (see map). A wide range of social and ethnic groups are represented.

An independent pharmacy is situated in the surgery grounds providing a convenient service for patients. A good selection of nursing and medical aids is available at the pharmacy which can also offer a prescription delivery service.

Disabled Patients
The surgery is on a single storey. There is parking at the practice with easy, level access from there. We also have a suitably adapted toilet and washroom.

TEACHING AND TRAINING

We are a training practice and welcome a new GP Registrar each year.

Registrars are qualified hospital doctors training for a career in general practice. The practice is also involved in the teaching of Oxford University medical students. You may be asked to have a consultation with the student prior to
seeing your own doctor.  Please tell the receptionists if you would prefer not to see the student - this will in no way affect your treatment.
